Academic Integrity
Real help, not cheating.
Instudy provides tutoring, feedback, and guidance on your own work — never finished work for you to submit as your own. That's not a limitation; it's the point.
01The line
Where genuine support ends and cheating begins
Genuine support is legal and is the only thing we match. Contract cheating — paying someone to produce work you submit as your own — is a criminal offence in England under the Skills and Post-16 Education Act 2022. Instudy is built firmly on the right side of that line.
What we do
- Tutoring and coaching to help you understand
- Feedback and markup on a draft you wrote
- Guidance on how to approach your own assignment
What we don't
- Writing or completing work you'll submit as your own
- Sitting tests, exams, or assessments for you
- Anything designed to disguise cheating as help
02How we enforce it
The line is built into the product
This isn't just a policy — it's enforced in the flow.
Draft-required editorial
Editorial orders can't start without your own draft, so feedback is always on work you wrote.
Completion-request screening
Requests that ask for finished, submit-ready work are screened and blocked.
Dual attestations
Both student and tutor confirm, at order time, that this is genuine support on the student's own work.
On-platform audit trail
Because delivery stays on-platform, there's always a record that the help was legitimate.
Learn the way that lasts
Genuine support helps you actually learn — and keeps you on the right side of the rules.
